appropriate or if you are unsure whether your present membership numbers,
qualified personnel, or instructional structure satisfy the relevant
requirements.

IBMA and IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI respect the history, name, representative,
teaching policies, training content, organizational structure, finances,
and operational independence of each organization and dojo.

After reviewing your present circumstances and future direction, we will
provide information on a practical and staged form of cooperation.

Matters You May Discuss Through This Form

1. Organization or Dojo Partnership with IBMA

This category is for organizations and dojos, regardless of Budo discipline
or style, that support the principles of IBMA and wish to establish
cooperation in Budo education, research, instructor development,
international exchange, social contribution, or related fields.

2. Affiliation with IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI

This category is for organizations and dojos engaged in Kyokushin Karate
or related Karate or Budo activities that wish to participate in the
IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI network as an Affiliated Organization or Affiliated Dojo.

3. Affiliation with the Intention to Seek Future Certification

This category is for organizations and dojos that wish to begin as an
Affiliated Organization or Affiliated Dojo and may later seek certification
after developing the required activity record, instructional structure,
safety-management system, and placement of qualified personnel.

Expressing an interest in future certification is not a formal application
for certification and does not guarantee that certification will be granted.

4. If You Are Unsure Which System Is Appropriate

If your desired relationship or future direction is not yet clear, select
the option requesting guidance on the appropriate system. We will review
your activities and goals and provide information on a suitable approach.

Brief Information on Affiliation Requirements

An organization or dojo seeking affiliation with IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI must,
in principle, have at least five associated IBMA General Members.

At the time of an initial application, affiliation may begin with at least
three General Members if the prescribed conditions are satisfied and
approval is obtained. In such a case, a plan must be submitted to increase
the number to at least five by the first affiliation renewal.

An IBMA Regular Member is not required at the affiliation stage. At least
one Regular Member serving as the representative or IBMA Liaison becomes
necessary when an Affiliated Organization or Affiliated Dojo later applies
for certification.

Registration as an IBMA Supporting Member is optional.
It is not a requirement for affiliation with IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI,
certification, or renewal.

At the inquiry stage, you do not need to have completed any General Member,
Regular Member, or Supporting Member registration. We will review your
current situation and provide information on the necessary procedures.

The IBMA Office or the responsible representative of IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI
will review the inquiry and respond in due course. Depending on the nature
of the inquiry, you may be asked to provide additional information or
materials, attend an online meeting, or proceed to the formal application
process.

A response to a preliminary inquiry does not guarantee approval where a
formal review is required.

Handling of Personal and Organizational Information

Personal and organizational information submitted through this form will
be used only to the extent necessary to respond to the inquiry, provide
information on the relevant systems, conduct preliminary confirmation,
prepare for review, communicate with the applicant, manage registration
and safety, and administer the relevant systems.

Where necessary to verify IBMA membership status or matters relating to
affiliation with or certification by IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI, information may
be confirmed or shared between IBMA and IBMA KYOKUSHIN KAI only to the
extent necessary.
